...when our hearts are full we need much less

  • Why the Hope?

The defining moment in my life that shifted the way I was thinking...and brought me to ubuntu.

  • Who am I?

    Great question. Tough to answer.

  • What I do

In the sense of living and breathing and working and playing.

It's always sad/overwhelming/exciting/anxious/hectic when leaving for a long trip. In the midst of the storm, I wanted to keep my appreciation and positive vibes up! Here are some things that make me happy:

Kay Logan, for dropping off your card last week and giving me amazing, hopeful words of encouragement: you're a true gem. I have SO enjoyed getting to know you and you're a rockstar at typing once you get going. I hope you are reading this. I hope you see all of my pictures and stories while I'm away! If not, I will come visit when I'm back. You taught me just as much as I taught you.

Knowing my Habitat families will be in their own HOMES by the time I get home. Snow, stay away until they get in there! I can't wait to deliver my childhood barbie doll home to my two little ladies there...in their own home.

My sibling weekend. My Thanksgiving dinner with Ang's other family. And my parents encouragement and patience with my ever-changing, always-changing ideas. Family, right? And my friends who are family. The encouraging words & thoughts from my soul sisters and brothers. You know who you are!

My job - and all of the employees there. You've set me free and had me back plenty of times. I'm glad our passions can overlap and work so well.

My kitty! Mrow mrow! I will miss you so much! Please don't forget me. Eat well, sleep well and enjoy your time away from me bugging you. I'll be back before you know it.

Canada. Love you, you precious nation. Mother Earth. The Wilderness here. Fall. You're so good to us. Let us be good to you back and be thankful for what you give us.

The idea of living my life out of a backpack..again. Humbling, oui?

My chance to go on a trip like this and have all of YOU to share it with. Happy Thanksgiving all. Enjoy your turkey. Almost time to jump on the jet plane. Next stop? Chicago. But after that? Indiaaaaaa!

I have a feeling life's about to change. In a big way or a small one, either way it's changing. Game on.

    See you soon!
