...when our hearts are full we need much less

  • Why the Hope?

The defining moment in my life that shifted the way I was thinking...and brought me to ubuntu.

  • Who am I?

    Great question. Tough to answer.

  • What I do

In the sense of living and breathing and working and playing.

Nothing like the cozy holidays to lift your spirits and make you remember what's important.
I was really lucky this year with seeing those close to me. It started in Winnipeg, spending time with many friends. Back at home I had girlfriends over for drinks & laughs. Christmas Eve we did some moving into the Habitat home. When I got home, my nephew actually walked right up to me and put his arms up, "Up!" (best feeling ever). Christmas Day was spent with my close family minus only one: Lord Gregory, who was so missed. Boxing Day ensured we golfed the regular Classic with the "extended" family. Lots of laughs and good competition. My brother and I got to have late night chit chats and we even had a (quick, but cozy nonetheless) winter bonfire. Last, but not least - snowboarding. Ahem... attempting to snowboard.
    Moving Day - Xmas Eve
    Birthday cupcakes for my brother.
Next Great Baker attempt for xmas cupcakes.
Maybe not the best. But pretty cute.
Next Great Baker for my nephew's 1st bday.
Although I can't take all the credit.
    Christmas Day love
Boxing Day Classic. Me & the boys.
Brought home genie pants for my nephews.
They loved 'em! Well, maybe not Kase.
    Geocaching with Grandpa & Ry
    Auntie sandwich!
My xmas gifts for the 2 superhero's in my life
    Winter bonfires
    Christmas cuddles with Uncle Jeff.
At this time of year there is all sorts of reflection and thoughts of new beginnings.
    What will 2012 hold?
My goals? I might as well put them out there and make myself accountable:

I purchased a Spanish audiobook on my Kindle and had to get a monthly membership. I guess this means I'm really learning Spanish this year.
I'm crossing the mystical city of Sedona & the Grand Canyon off my list.
I want to finish these. three. last. courses. so my degree is done for now.
I hope to make it to South/Central America for a women's project.
    Finally...moving. East coast or mountains?

Shit. That's a big year. Here we go!
