Great question. Tough to answer.
In the sense of living and breathing and working and playing.
The Indian VISA process was kind of fun. Not like South Africa or Zim where you simply land in the airport and they stamp you in on arrival, for India you must head downtown Winnipeg (or mail it to Toronto) and wait for your appointment with two lovely Indian women. They put you in a small room that the girls share and ask you a couple questions. You fill out the application, give them some passport photos (if you're like me you'll have to walk about 8 blocks to Don's Photos because you didn't come prepared) and VOILA! Two weeks later you have a 6 month visa.
Last big step before the trip? Vaccinations. Joy!
