Two exciting bits happened today and I thought it's time to get the blog up and running again.
1 - I am officially back in the B. Mgmt program at University of Athabasca...wo wooo! My courses from RRC transferred and I will begin taking courses in the next couple of months.
2 - I got my volunteer application form for Nine Circles, an HIV/STI prevention & care clinic, here in the Peg, and received an email from Iian, the founder of Little Travellers, whom I hopefully will start doing some work for.
Little Travellers are super inspiring and so easy to support. The little dolls are $5 and all proceeds go to about 100 families living in South Africa. Give them to your parents, siblings, cousins, anyone. So far, the Little Travellers Initiative has sold over 40,000 dolls, raising more than $200,000 (and counting!) for HIV/AIDS relief in South Africa
Read about them here.
Aaaand, we kicked butt in beach volleyball and are on our way to the A side of the play-offs...wo wooo
What a beautiful day!
