The End of a Decade

A decade of conservation volunteers later, KlipKop Conservation - the conservation I worked on while in South Africa, is withdrawing from the volunteer program as Tony & Mary (the FABULOUS) couple who run it are retiring.

I just wanted to say how appreciative I am of their time devoted to this special place on earth. I feel so lucky to have been a part of their little piece of heaven.

Not only that, but while I was there they were involved in a bit of an ongoing battle with a company who was looking to develop near their land, damaging water and land resources close to the conservation.
